Mupeka, Class and Waterfalls

On Saturday the team went to Mupeka village for one more night of camping.  We set up camp, met our translators and went into the village to share our stories.  While there, Hannah and I got to see a baby girl that was born that morning.  She was beautiful!  Because the mortality rate is so high, most people do not name their children until they are a few months old.  Please lift up this little girl that she will be protected from disease and harm.  Ask that she would grow up to be strong and that she would come to know the Father.

The guys played futbol with some of the Nationals while the girls played with the kids.  That night, after gazing at the incredible stars, we sat around the fire and listened to the Good News being translated into Bemba.  Many people came to our fire, though most were not interested in what we had to say. Please lift up of the people of Mupeka that they might be open to knowing Him.

Yesterday, after returning to Isoka the team led a children's class at the local church.  Brittany and Hannah did a fantastic job sharing with the children and they loved reenacting the stories afterward.

Teaching that a "dead man" can't bring himself back to life.

Today we had a "play day" and went to a small waterfall only 30 minutes away from the M's house.  We had a fun afternoon enjoying the Father's creation.  Margo stayed back at the house to spend some time resting.  Here are some pictures of our day.

Tarzan in the flesh.

We even found an Oklahoma shaped rock at the falls. :)
